You tell us about your challenges, questions and individual issues. By reflecting and planning ahead, together we develop viable, future-proof concepts – Denkwerkstatt for Managers does not deal in off-the-peg strategies and ready-made solutions. We assemble a dedicated Denkwerkstatt team of internal and external associates for each assignment. Quite deliberately, we also engage non-industry specialists – academics, managers, consultants, artists and lateral thinkers in order to reveal new perspectives and provide food for thought. In doing so, we concentrate on eight key tasks:
1. DIALOGUE AND COACHING
Denkwerkstatt sees its remit as identifying and optimally leveraging existing potentials and resources. To achieve this we enter into dialogue with managers and jointly develop solutions for their individual problems. More
2. TEAM DEVELOPMENT
From improving the team organisation to developing genuine innovations, from demanding infotainment to hard-edged, elite events – our workshops for team development are as individual as our clients.
3. CREATIVE MANAGEMENT
Walter Isaacson’s biography about Steve Jobs makes it clear: Any company that cannot bring innovations to the market will lose out in business. But just how do we come up with innovations? Denkwerkstatt has intensively researched this subject for two years and evaluated numerous projects implemented by creatives (the visual arts, music and in particular jazz, architecture, performance art) – and achieved some notable results! 4. FROM VISION TO STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT – FIRST MOVER PROJECTS
You are planning something new for your company. Unadorned strategy development is not enough. You want to anticipate new developments: Openly, independently, procedurally and controversially. In that case you need to speak to Denkwerkstatt for Managers.
5. MANAGEMENT TRAINING
Our training offerings differ from conventional management offerings in that they combine elements of US and European management schools. More
6. IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL
Psychology has developed various different procedures for recognising potential. The main procedures employed by companies are multi-observational procedures like assessment centres. In the test area in Germany particular concepts such as DISC and MBTI and their derivatives have been sold or licensed to businesses. However, the world of successful tests is much larger: Denkwerkstatt has access to a wide spectrum of potential tests and uses these in conjunction with assessment centre exercises to successfully identify potential. Are you planning an event and looking for speakers or faciliators? We will plan your conference or symposium – together with you. As speakers we will happily find you selected partners from different disciplines from commerce, academia and the arts. However, please note: Denkwerkstatt’s symposiums in Mannheim are different, pragmatic, surprising and intellectual in the best sense of these words. As a speaker we will be happy to find you selected partners from various disciplines from commerce.
Denkwerkstatt constantly carries out management research. For example, we are tutoring final theses in the partnership between Heidelberg Management Centre and Ludwigshafen Technical College within the framework of the MBA HRM course. More
